Meet Frog and Toad!
These boys are bonded brothers. As close as any set of siblings I have ever known. They were found in an engine compartment and lovingly taken in for several months, but they had to move on and came to us. Sometimes it takes a village to get these babies through to their forever homes.
Toad is the outgoing one. Purring in anticipation of being petted and picked up.
Frog is more cautious, but if Toad is getting love he quickly moves in to get his own.
They have glorious dark gold eyes, soft short fur and beautiful tabby markings.
They play together, sleep together, get into mischief together and groom each other. Did I mention they were bonded?
Oh, and they will need to go to a home with a flappy bird toy!! They'll have so much fun, and provide you with tons of entertainment.
You will not go wrong with these two loving brothers. They are beautiful, sweet scamps--Everything you want in a kitten!

We review all applications and check information provided. It could take up to 48 hrs, we're a small, all volunteer organization.

Meet the Pet
Most of our kittens and cats are in foster homes, some are at one of three Petco stores. We like to meet all members of the family.

Sign Adoption Contract
Is this a love match? If so, we text you a link to your phone and you'll sign the adoption contract and enter your adoption fee payment.

Take the Pet Home
All cats may leave our care after they have been spayed or neutered. Please bring a clean and secure pet carrier with you. No cardboard.

• have the willingness and means to provide good care and necessary medical treatment for the animal.
• be 18 years or older.
• have ID showing your present address.
• have the knowledge and consent of your landlord if you rent.
• bring a pet carrier to pick up your animal.
• NOT declaw the animal.
• NOT re-home the animal. Return the animal to HJC if need be.
• have a non-smoking home.
• meet any requirements that are specifically for a PARTICULAR animal, i.e. no kids,indoors only, special care, etc.
• not adopt a kitten as a gift for someone else.
• Consider your age when adopting a kitten. Cats can live up to 20 years.
All dogs and cats currently in your residence MUST be spayed or neutered. If they are not, your application will be denied.

Happy Jack Cats, Inc., is a Idaho Non-Profit Corporation. We are a foster-based, feline, no-kill rescue and adoption group. Our kittens and cats are in foster homes throughout the Boise and Meridian areas, we have no store-front location. We always need donations, fosters parents, and volunteers.
Happy Jack Cats, Inc., (HJC) was founded in November 2015 by individuals concerned for the welfare of "throwaway" kittens and cats in the Boise and Meridian areas of Idaho. We have a Board of Directors consisting of three members. HJCI has no paid employees, but has a strong foster program made up of skilled volunteers in homes through-out the area. To date, all funding for HJCI is out-of-pocket or has come from donations, grants and re-homing fees.
One of our group had been working to save the lives of kittens for about four years before we incorporated, but as it became known in the community that she was very good at re-homing kittens, she was flooded with animals; orphaned, abandoned, lost, abused and otherwise unwanted. It was at this point, that she realized that there was a huge need.
Because of this, she decided to create a nonprofit organization to fill the void, recruited two like-minded people to form the board, and Happy Jack Cats, Inc. came into being.
HJC saves kittens from euthanasia that are too young to be adopted or have treatable conditions that would prevent them from being adopted. We take in kittens younger than twelve weeks of age, including bottle babies. At times we receive adult cats, particularly kitten mammas in need of spaying.
Even though our rescued animals often come from terrible circumstances,once bathed, wormed, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated are beautiful, loving and very much in demand. Our goal is to place kittens and cats with families that will love and care for them for their lifespans.
