Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet JJ!
An energetic young Australian Cattle Dog mix from Union City, NJ, whose world is as bright and full of wonder as his playful spirit! At just one-year-old, this medium-sized bundle of joy is wrapped in a soft tan coat, always ready to explore and bring happiness to those around him. With a heart full of curiosity and a love for adventure, JJ’s excitement for life is infectious!
While JJ can be a bit skittish with sudden noises or unexpected surprises, he quickly warms up with a little patience. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll shower you with snuggles and ask for all the playtime he can get! He’s mastered some basic commands like "sit" and "down," but still has that delightful, bouncy puppy energy that keeps things exciting. If there’s a ball, a chew toy, or his beloved stuffed giraffe around, you’ll find JJ happily engaged for hours!
One of JJ’s standout qualities is his gentle nature, especially when it comes to young children. He’s as sweet as can be and thrives in family settings. He’s also quite the social butterfly with other dogs—whether big or small, JJ is always eager to make new canine friends. Just watch out when he's around smaller pups; he’s still learning to be careful with his size when excitement takes over!
JJ has been crate trained and does well during bedtime, though he prefers not to spend too much time in his crate outside of sleeping hours. While he’s not the biggest fan of being left alone, he manages well and will always greet you with that loving moo of his—yes, JJ moos! While he knows how to bark, this quiet little guy prefers his adorable mooing sound to grab your attention.
In search of a new loving home where his lively personality and affectionate nature will be cherished, JJ is ready to bring a world of joy to a family who appreciates his need to be by their side, sharing in his playful adventures. Could JJ be the perfect playful companion you’ve been waiting for?
