Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Charlie is a 4-year-old Choco-Labradoodle who was in danger of being put down by his owners because he had developed a strong bond with his mommy (who just had a baby) and took a disliking to his daddy. Their solution was to put him down. My (Sarah Leddick's) solution was to save him, get him a much-needed neuter and train him. For this reason, it would be best for Charlie to be adopted by a single woman who lives alone and to slowly introduce him to friends & family. He loves women!...But not so keen on men. He is potty trained and up to date on vaccinations. He is currently in foster in Miami. To learn more about Charlie, or to schedule a meet-n-greet, please contact Sarah Leddick at (305) 450-2033 or email at sarahleddick@gmail.com.

Our goal is to make the adoption process as thorough and easy as possible. If you are interested in adopting a dog, the first thing we will ask you to do is complete our online Adoption Application. Upon review of your application, a decision to approve or decline will be made. If approved, we will schedule a time for your to meet the dog you are interested in adopting. If there is a match, a home visit will be conducted before the final adoption decision is made. Once the final approval is made, an Adoption Agreement is signed and the adoption is complete.

More about this rescue
Happy Tails Dog Rescue is a foster-based registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, vetting, and rehoming dogs from kill shelters in Southern Florida. We are a husband and wife team, together with a small team of volunteers who rescue, vet dogs, and rehome dogs who are about to be euthanized. It is our goal to provide the necessary veterinary care, grooming, and attention they may need to ultimately place them in forever homes.
