Duke is very friendly. I live alone and I think he needs more interaction than I can offer. I’ve had nothing but success with him. He’s house trained.
I’ve had a work schedule change and cannot give Duke the attention he needs in his advanced age, which I don’t know what that is. I got him as a stray 5 years ago. When I took him to the vet for his initial visit, the vet assessed his age at about 6 years, judging by the tartar on his teeth. Therefore, I estimate Duke’s age to be around 11.
He’s been with other dogs at his dog sitters when I travel and have had no issues.
Duke has no apparent medical issues but as a hound, he is prone to ear infections.
