My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Janice (janice.frazier@sbcglobal.net) for more information about this pet.

She is outgoing and playful and enjoys being on your shoulder.

Aggie is a joy to foster - so outgoing and engaging. She is a very sweet, yet active gray tabby girl who loves to play and runs to you for attention, when she sees you - seeing is the key need as she appears to be deaf, but that surely doesn't slow her down.
She would be ideal with a 4-legged playmate or a family that has lots of time to play with her.
Everything is a toy for her - a little box, a dangle toy, a crazy circle, her little stuffed animal, and of course balls; you name it she will play with it! Her current roomie is Gizmo and you can see from the picture of them spooning they are totally happy together. And great playmates.
She is very curious which led her to decide to be a shoulder-rider kitty when she was little! But you’ve got to watch her as she is also likely to taste your hair and ear lobes!
We rescued her because she was just a wee thing and so she was not eating at the shelter and with the proper TLC we got her to thrive.
And she is looking for a loving home to join now who understand not hearing isn't a big deal - most cats ignore you when you talk to them anyway!

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat

More about this rescue

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
