Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Patches is a 10-year-old pincher mix looking for a loving forever home. He's been with the same family since he was a puppy, but after the recent loss of his mother, he's in need of a new companion.
Initially, Patches may be a bit anxious around new people, but he quickly warms up with love, praise, and a consistent routine. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. He enjoys ear scratches, walks, naps, car rides, park visits, and exploring the yard.
Patches is well-adjusted to both apartment and house living. He's leash-trained, kennel-okay, potty-trained, and food-motivated. Regular walks are essential to keep him happy and reduce stress. While he's generally a gentle soul, he may bark protectively.
Due to his age, Patches may require a little extra help getting up on taller vehicles or furniture. He might also experience occasional arthritis discomfort.
If you're looking for a loyal and loving senior dog who will bring joy to your life, Patches could be the perfect companion for you.
Please note: Patches is not suitable for homes with cats.
For more information or to inquire about adopting Patches, please contact Northern Lakes Rescue at info@northernlakesrescue.org.
His adoption fee is 300$ plus MN tax. This covers his vetting and supplies needed while in rescue.

More about this rescue
Our Vision is to be a voice for those who are voiceless. We hear them with our hearts and give them a voice. Looking into the eyes of a rescued animal will speak volumes; watching those eyes light up will have an everlasting impact on you and the rescued animals.
We aren’t a typical rescue as we don’t take in dogs and put them in kennels until they’re adopted. All dogs we rescue are placed in loving foster homes that teach them to be the best dog they can be.
Our journey doesn’t end with adoption, either. We are here for you to support you in integrating your new member into your home, cheer new triumphs, and help with struggles.
