My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a Gorgeous, sweet, fun loving, little female FurChild, full of energy and Love? Well look no further, I'm the Purrrrfect Kitty for you!

Let me introduce myself, I'm CYPRESS and I'm the "total package"! I'm Gorgeous with a slight Tortise Coat pattern, my eye color is still changing but my Hooman thinks they will be Golden! I'm about 6 weeks old right now, my Birthday was July 27, 2024, so I will be ready for you to take me home in just a couple weeks! I really live to play with Boxes, Balls, feathers and wrestle with my sisters! My hooman says I'm a "tree topper" which means I like to climb and explore! I haven't found anything that scares me, although I scare my hooman by attacking her feet as she walks by my hidey hole! I love playing with other kittens but I would be okay to be an only kitten as long as I get some playtime with you. I'm not real sure about Dogs, though. I've seen then thru the window and I'm kind of interested in them. I'm still young, so can easily adjust to other furchildren if introduced properly. I'm eating both wet food and dry kibble and I LOVE treats! Better watch your shredded cheese, cause I'm sneaky and will steal it! I'm also a sock thief and if you leave them out, youre going to have to go looking for them! I'm using the Litter Box like a Champ and will sleep thru the night, curled by your side. I'm also very loving and will lay in your arms or your lap, purring while you gently stroke my Gorgeous soft head and body! Did you know Doctors say petting a furchild relieves stress and lowers your blood pressure! I'm here to help lower your stress and BP...just keep getting me!

I'll be ready for my FurEver home in a couple weeks. I will be up to date on my kitty vaccinations, spayed and microchipped, just in case I were to get lost.

Do you have room in your home and heart for me? Remember my name...CYPRESS, SAPA-A-71700... and fill out an application today, so we can meet up and you can start falling in love with me!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.

San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.

Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.
