Gnorfbun is an 11 year old adorable pittie mix and 60 lbs of pure, sweet, cinnamon bun lovin. Ok, so, she needs a diet and has allergies, but this girl has all the love in the world to give. She loves going for walks as much as she loves snuggling. She's great with her 9-lb foster dog sibling and she's respectful of an older grouchy dog in the house. She wants to play with everyone, even the cats, even when they are not in agreement. But mostly, she ignores them and naps. She's been an instant favorite with kids and adults alike and we know you'll find a soulmate in her.

Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
