My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Vermont, a pretty "buff" (not orange) Tabby. I was found outside and a kind person brought me to HAWS to be safe and find a forever home. When you enter the cat adoption room, I'm not a cat who greet you at my front door like some other cats. If I'm sleeping or just watching everyone, please calmly talk to me and I'll likely get up to say HI. Take me to a meeting room and maybe I'll even jump in your lap! I love being pet and like to play. During my prior stay at HAWS, I lived in the Small Colony room and shared the space with another cat so maybe I'll get along fine with your cat (if you have one and I'm properly introduced)? But I would be perfectly OK being an only kitty too! I would I really like a home again to explore and make my own. Could it be yours? Come meet me today.
