Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What's that rumble? Oh, it's Bumble! This playful boy loves to chase his ball around and be a wild cat. A rough and rowdy player, Bumble would do well with the company of another young and playful cat (for him to stalk and surprise!) or oppositely, an old, relaxed cat who won't mind his antics. Two years old and full of beans, he can't be picked up, needs his own space and will tell you, "No thank you" but far less politely. However, if you want to drag a string or feather around or throw his ball than he'll happily spend all day with you. Bumble is neutered and current on all shots, ready for his new home. If you've got room in your heart for an energetic wild-man who plays by his own rules and requires you follow them too, then take a chance on Bumble and make your appointment to meet him today.
He is not the biggest fan of other cats, and does not like dogs, but he loves the attention he gets from people. Bumble is a 2-year-old neutered male
For more information on Bumble, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for an application Adoption Fees for Senior cats (8yrs and up) is $50 Adult Cats $200 and Kittens under a year $250.

Animal Welfare Society, Inc. is an independent, non-profit, non-destroy organization founded in 1965.
Our Mission is to aid and find loving, permanent homes for abandoned, stray, and abused cats and dogs in New Milford, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Roxbury, and Washington, Connecticut.
Each year hundreds of dogs and cats find refuge at our shelter located at 8 Dodd Road in New Milford, Connecticut. Abandoned dogs are rescued from the Regional Canine Facility in New Milford after the mandatory 7-day waiting period. AWS also makes periodic trips to New York City's overpopulated dog pounds and brings their animals to our shelter for placement. Our cats are found abandoned in the areas we serve.
From the moment these animals enter the shelter, they are no longer unwanted. Each is a special pet waiting for a caring, responsible, permanent home.
