Charlie is a 9 year old pit bull mix. He’s a giant sweetheart who is made happy simply by petting him and giving him a soft bed to lay on. He’s very laid back and chill.
He seems completely indifferent to other dogs and cats - only focused on his owner.
He does have separation anxiety, so the perfect home for him would be someone who is not gone a lot. But, if that’s not an option, he has adapted to my schedule where I’m gone for up to 9 hours a day, 5 days a week with zero accidents in home and zero things tore up.
He doesn’t like lawnmowers or loud noises.
He is on trazadone and Prozac to help with his separation anxiety as well as apoquel to help with itchy skin.
The trazadone and Prozac are pretty cheap, about $35 for 3 month supply on chewy. The apoquel is quite a bit more, but may not need it in the cooler months.
The reason I am rehoming has NOTHING to do with Charlie. I have only had him about 6 months and I am not a dog person (he was given to me by family).
