Meet Stevie, a young, cuddly, and shy soul, whose gentle nature is sure to win your heart. Her sweetness makes her a delightful companion. She's always happy, her tail wagging as a testament to her joyful spirit. Stevie has a soft spot for treats, which are her favorite reward. She weighs 14 pounds and prefers to stay close while on a leash, providing comforting companionship. She'll need your help to learn about house training but she does understand the no command. Her favorite activities are tugging and wrestling. Stevie loves to dig, so she'll make a great gardening companion and she's not shy about vocalizing her opinions whether you want to hear them or not. She is affectionate and craves companionship, often feeling lonely if she is ever by herself. Stevie behaved amazingly well with her finder's dogs but a recent adopter said she is cautious and fearful around them. Maybe you should bring your dog to meet her. In addition to her sociable side, she does have a playful streak and loves to chase cats but isn't mean to them. Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.
