MEET Orchid :

Orchid is a one-year-old white poodle who was found as a stray and never reclaimed. When she was found, she was extremely scared and emaciated and had severely matted fur, so she had to be shaved down to her skin. Despite her rough start, Orchid is a very friendly and energetic dog who loves attention. She is starting to play with toys and loves to follow her foster around the house. Orchid has a very good understanding of house manners and is starting to go to the door wanting to go outside. However, it is important to note that she is not leash trained and will need a fenced-in yard for exercise and outdoor play. She isn't the kind of breed to be tethered. Orchid is good with other dogs that are respectful of her space. She doesn't like puppies that have high energy.  She would be fine with old children that are dog savy. She gets along well with the foster cats. On the bright side, Orchid is crate trained and comfortable in her crate. Also she likes car rides. Orchid is looking for her furever family.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
