Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
After only 4 days as a foster, he is playing with our little terrier, bursting through the
doggy doors, following the pack to join the front door welcoming committee, jumping
way up onto my bed in the morning to wear out his tail wagging, washing my face with a
tiny tongue despite my screams, most content when curled up near a person at all
times, cuddling with my hubs and sometimes the other dogs, crating at night without
complaining and wakes dry in the early morning. His batteries are fully charged in the
morning but by evening they run low and he goes limp; the perfect balance.
He is about 1 ½ - 2 years old and seems to be a Malti-Shih with smooth, wavy hair of a
Maltese, but a low-long body, and face and coloring, of a perfect Shih Tzu, without one
face wrinkle. All of this is in a tiny, trim 7 ½ pound body. Could be total Shih.
He continues to improve on his potty training, is quiet unless he is welcoming us home,
and has so far eaten everything we put in front of him. Except the pineapple.
He’s not hyperactive. He’s just energized but very cooperative with the general needs of
behavior. He is a complete package, a little black Mini Cooper, and finds unabashed joy
in being alive. All this, after only 4 days!
After 2 weeks: We’re working hard on that potty training. Getting his poop timing down,
walking frequently, picking it up fast and pouring praise all over him. Great alarm dog
but not too barky. He’s fussy about wet grass but will wear tiny socks on hot pavement
or wet grass without one complaint. A wonderful work in progress.
