My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suni is a beautiful tuxedo girl with the most gorgeous long whiskers and ear fluff, which foretells a very furry fluffball when she grows up. She comes from a litter of five kittens that were born on the rough streets of Westchester. Together with her mom and siblings, Suni was discovered hiding in a hole behind some bushes in the front yard of a residential home. While her three brothers were trapped and rescued first, Suni and her sister Jordan eluded capture for several days and have therefore formed a special bond. Suni is very affectionate, likes to be carried, and loves a good purr. Ideally, Suni would be adopted together with her sister Jordan.

Must be 21 years of age. Everyone must submit a completed application, undergo a personal interview with all household members present, allow a home visit, provide references (veterinarian plus two personal), and sign a contract at time of adoption.

Go meet their pets

We show our adoptable animals at Petsmart stores in Westchester County, NY most weekends, but also attend other adoption events at various local venues. Appointments can also be made to visit with our cats in their current foster homes.

More about this rescue

We are a feline only rescue which focuses on medically fragile (bottle babies), critically ill or injured, and special needs kitten populations. We provide medical care, fostering, and love until the kittens and cats are ready for adoption. Our rescue animals are brought to us from the streets, high kill shelters, and other rescues. We believe in lending a voice to these felines in order to provide them with safer and healthier lives. We advocate for better shelter conditions/ management, provide community education, and encourage TNR programs for effective feral cat population control.
