We need a foster (in Orange County ONLY) or adopter for Cal starting 9/15!

Cal is your typical puppy! He is 1 year old, energetic, and currently weighs 15lbs. He was found as a stray on Kauai.

Like most shelter dogs, Cal will need a home willing to work on him basic obedience and potty training. He's coming to us from a shelter environment, so he has had no training.

If you are up for helping Cal learn how great life can be with a loving family, he will be well worth your efforts! Please contact us if you are interested in fostering or adopting Cal!

We are totally transparent with the needs of our animals to ensure there are no surprises and to help ensure the pet is a great fit for your home! We also follow up post-adoption to help provide support as needed.

Launched in 2021, Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is a Newport Beach-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. We are entirely foster-based and are no-kill. Our mission is to help as many homeless dogs and cats as possible find loving and compassionate adoptive families.

We accomplish this by being good stewards of donations, inspiring dedicated volunteers and fosters, providing education on responsible pet ownership, and being advocates for each animal that comes under our care. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of as many animals as we can.

Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is named in honor of our founder's late dog, Diamond. She was a fantastic foster sister to numerous dogs and was a friend to every animal she met. It is our hope that many more animals in need will get to be one of Diamond's friends.
