My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi friends, I'm Walker!

They named me Walker because, well to put it honestly .... Walking is my fastest speed! I'm not named "Runner" for good reason! I'm looking for a family that likes to take it easy, low energy. I would love to be your listening buddy after a hard day at work, your companion, no need for long walks, runs, or lots of exercise, that's just not who I am. My motto "Weekends were made for napping!"

I do love to go for a walk, 30 minutes is plenty for me. I love to get all the good sniffs in (they say I have a good nose!)

I am crate and house trained, so I'm ready to move right in. I do well with other dogs, but young energetic puppies might be too much for me.

If you're looking for a handsome, laid-back gentleman to add to your family, I'm your guy! Apply to adopt at www.tailsofhopewi.org

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
