Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: New Hope, MN
Topaz is a fun loving, well behaved young man! He is the PERFECT (foster mom might be biased) combo of playful and calm!
Topaz will do well with older kiddos (5+) and thoroughly enjoys a playful family.
He will do best with a family that has another dog to play with and learn from. He is food motivated and easy to train. He currently knows how to sit, shake and is learning fetch. He also is getting very skilled at "leave it" in regard to things he shouldn't be doing (barking or paying attention to something he shouldn't). He is a great listener and so eager to learn more! He enjoys play time outside, low temps and snow don't deter him at all! Has German Shepherd, husky and collie DNA.
Cats are a no for this guy as he has a good prey drive.
Topaz is not crate trained but is fully potty trained (with a dog door) and house trained (can leave him for a couple of hours without issue). He sleeps with foster mom in her bed but also enjoys floor time and time in his own doggy bed.
He is 35lbs and estimated to get to 50+lbs full grown.
If interested, please put an application in!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
