Hi, my name is China, let me tell you my story. My mommy went in to the Hospice and I was told she will not longer be able to care for me. A nice Nurse (Thank you Nurse) took me on to help with my placement. You see she found out I was Heartworm positive and coughing up a storm. I currently had my first HW treatment and are scheduled for the next one soon. This is REALLY hard on me. While being checked out by two vets, it was found out that I also had a little problem with my hind leg. Well I am around 8 years now and it is no wonder :) By the way, I am crossed eyes and are the smallest Husky girl you have ever seen. I am a handy package. So if you are interested in me, visit the Ark. My treatment will take a little longer, but you could come visit, take me on gentle walks and love on my A LOT! If you are willing to wait on me, so will I. Please come to the Ark and ask for China, that's me! Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
