Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Cody! The folks here at the Ark all know that I'm a sweet talkin' and very handsome special kinda fella who has impeccable manners ! I have a bit of a silly side, and love a good ear rub too! I'm friendly and active guy, and just love to play with toys with my volunteer friends and I especially like it when they take me for walks.
But here's the best part - I also have a soft mellow relaxed side. I'm the best of both worlds! As a matter of fact, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'm an 11!! Being a mature guy, I know what I like, and I like people! On the other hand, cats I'm just not too fond of, but we can work that out.
As much as I love the people here at the Ark, I've been here a very long time just hoping to have a family of my own. I'm a bit allergic to a few kinds of food, but that's not a big deal, I just need a certain kind of food (like Farmers Dog)and I'm good to go!

Way back when I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Retriever/Lab mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!!

**Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
