Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alanis' world was thrown up side down last spring when someone decided to leave her in a cardboard box outside the veterinarian's office. Alanis panicked (of course) and broke out of the box. Then the office staff panicked and after gard work got her into safety. This traumatic experience took a toll.on Alanis. Her foster parents worked diligently on building trust with Alanis who aftrr this event developed fear of humans and other cats. Now Alanis is just the sweetest of them all. Her perfect day includes waking up to a light meal, a little play after she has groomed herself. Then she will play for a few hours, take a much needed nap. Whenever she gets a chance, Alanis loves lap time. As a matter of fact she is the perfect lap cat. If you have visitors she wil gladly greet them at the door and enjoy some chin rubs.
If Alanis sounds like something for you please call us at 209-735-0604. Or text. Alanis would do great in a small house hold with one or 2 other animals. A cat friendly dog is ok. Kids over 6 may be best.
