Virginia Woolf entered City of San Bernardino Animal Services as a stray. She quickly became a favorite of shelter staff and volunteers for being very sweet and gentle. They advocated for her rescue, and after meeting her, we agreed: VIrginia Woolf is very special! She became a Frosted Face on September 7th.
Virginia Woolf is around 7 years old and weighs 92 lbs., but don't let her size intimidate you. She does well with other dogs and knows commands including "sit" and "give paw".
Virginia Woolf went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what she is like in a home. Here's the scoop from her Fling Mom:
"Virginia is such a lover! She loves all people and will get attached andand follow you around and be your little helper! Now onto the amazing things about Virginia:
- she loves all toys that can squeak and loves to carry them around everywhere she goes!
- she will sleep by your feet wherever you are and be content with just hanging out around the house
- she loves going on walks and is really great on the leash! She loves to sniff around at each corner and take it all in.
- she is so receptive to commands and will listen to everything you say! She loves people so much and will wag her tail the second she sees her humans walking in the room!
- she is potty trained well and has not had any accidents in the house
- she is great during baths and loves to be brushed!
- she is not a picky eater and will eat any dog food you put down for her!
- she loves to play with you and will run around the yard when she has zoomies in the mornings!
- she loves any attention you can give her and will always asks for pets by putting her paw on your leg or putting her nose right up to your hand with her tail wagging.
- she has a very big personal space bubble and needs to be in a household with other pets that can give her the space she needs (or to be an only pet.)
Viriginia is the sweetest girl ever and will make you feel so loved. She is well-behaved and does not bark at all when the doorbell rings or if she hears anything outside! She is a quiet but a playful girl who will brighten up any home she is brought into!
If you want a dog that will give you so much unconditional love and kisses, then Virginia is your dog! She loves everyone and will greet you with so much love and happiness."
Virginia ready to meet her forever family. Might that be you?
Please stop by any day of the week between 10 AM and 3 PM to meet this special girl and our other Frosted Faces!
