My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Virginia Woolf!

Virginia Woolf entered City of San Bernardino Animal Services as a stray. She quickly became a favorite of shelter staff and volunteers for being very sweet and gentle. They advocated for her rescue, and after meeting her, we agreed: VIrginia Woolf is very special! She became a Frosted Face on September 7th.

Virginia Woolf is around 7 years old and weighs 97 lbs. She does well with other dogs and knows commands including "sit" and "give paw".

The day after this beautiful girl arrived, she was chosen to go on a two-week Frosted Fling. We received this great update after her first week:

"Virginia is a wonderful dog! So far, I have learned:

- She is such a love bug! She loves all the pets and snuggles you can muster.
- She loves any toy that can squeak and will play with it for hours!! Her favorite way is to throw it around while she's lying down!!
- She is not food aggressive and is very gentle when taking treats!
- She does well when getting a bath and loves getting pets and praises afterwards.
- She loves to be where you are and is happy to lie down next to you and watch what you do!
- She will curl herself in any dog bed, even if she doesn't quite fit!
- She does really well on the leash
- She sleeps through the night and is always so exited to see you in the morning. She always wags her tail when she sees us!

I can't wait to learn more about Virginia during our second week together."
