My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dickens!

Dickens entered City of San Bernardino Animal Services as a stray, and after he wasn't claimed during his hold period, he was scheduled to be euthanized due to a medical issue. Thankfully, that's right up our alley, and we welcomed Dickens as a a Frosted Face on September 7th! He is around 5 years old, weighs 83 lbs., and is very sweet.

A volunteer took Dickens on a special outing to give him one-on-one time and shared afterwards:

"I had the absolute pleasure of taking gentle giant Dickens out on a hike. He needed a little extra help getting into the car, but he didn't mind me lifting or adjusting him once he got in. He laid down calmly in the backseat the whole drive.

On the trail, Dickens walked along at a slow and steady pace with plenty of breaks for water and pets. We encountered quite a few people on the trail. and he loved the attention. We didn't say hi to any dogs, but he looked interested in them like he wanted to play. He never showed any signs of fear or aggression toward people or dogs.

Dickens is a wonderful hiking buddy whose tail never stops wagging!

Please stop by 10:00am - 3:00pm to meet Dickens and other adoptable Frosted Faces. We look forward to seeing you soon!
