What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Juno was rescued in 2021 at the age of 3, after being picked up as a stray dog from a rural part of Northern CA. Due to her lack of early socialization and strong herding/guarding breeds, she takes time to warm to new people and can be protective of her home. She has fear-based aggression and is reactive to dogs and strangers. She luckily has no bite history. For the last three years, she has been in a loving home where she has undergone significant training to adjust to a more social suburban/urban life. When given the time she needs to slowly warm up to new people and environments, she forms the most loving and loyal bonds. She works with a Veterinary Behaviorist and recently completed an 8 week Board and Train program. She is exceptionally smart and obedient. She is really the sweetest and most special dog in the world. She deserves a chance to live out the second half of her life in an environment where she can thrive and be happy.
