Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Kova's personality is just as cute as her face...possibly even cuter! This 3-year-old bright-eyed lady is outgoing, happy, intelligent and loves to play! She's the kind of dog who will instantly become your best friend within about a minute of meeting you. She's not super hyper, but she does like to give lots of hugs and kisses.
We're told Kova is a lab mix, but her sister Kira who she came here with may have gotten all the lab genes! The sisters get along great, but they do not have to go home together. They'd likely both do well with other friendly dogs, but they request meet and greets first. They previously lived with cats and were fine with them. Both girls are spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
Apply to adopt your new best friend at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt or at the sanctuary any time we're open. Call 570-376-3646 or email secondchanceas@yahoo.com with any questions.

This may be done before applying. You'll be asked to sign an adoption contract and to make a certain donation amount, rather than a set fee.
Additional adoption info
We are passionate about pairing animals in need with loving families who would best suit their individual needs. NOTE: You do not have to apply for a specific animal on your application. You can submit it as a "pre-application" for a certain size, age or breed of animal, and if approved, we can contact you if a possible match arrives at the shelter.
