Kova's personality is just as adorable as her face...possibly even more so. This 3-year-old bright-eyed lady is outgoing, happy, intelligent and loves to play! She's the kind of dog who will instantly become your best friend within about a minute of meeting you. She's not super hyper, but she does like to give lots of hugs and kisses. You'll also be required to pay lots of tummy tax, because she loves her belly rubs.
We're told Kova is a lab mix (which was much more evident in her sister, Kira, who's been adopted). She's great on the leash and is well-behaved, but we've learned she's not crazy about being alone. That makes sense with how much she adores the company of people. Kova gets along with other dogs, but still asks for a meet and greet with any potential dog siblings. She previously lived with cats and was just fine with them. Kova is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

We will call your veterinarian and personal references. We'll also call you if we have questions or need more information.

We will approve or deny the application. You may be approved to adopt, but not necessarily the same animal you originally applied for.

This may be done before applying. You'll be asked to sign an adoption contract and to make a certain donation amount, rather than a set fee.

Our facility is open 12-5 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and 12-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. We are closed Mondays and Wednesdays but are happy to arrange appointments outside business hours.
