Cody and his little friend Carson were found wandering under an abandoned trailer one weekend. They were scooped up and taken for check ups and to get neutered. When we realized how nice they were, we knew we had to help them find a loving home.

Cody is very playful and has adjusted very well in his foster home. He loves to play with the other kittens and even likes the older cats who are nice to him. He has fun chasing toys around and knocking them out of the toy basket.

He does not need to be adopted with Carson, but really would like to have another kitty in the home to hang out with.

He really loves his canned food and tries to clean up all the bowls from the other kitties. He is a good boy with the litterbox.

Cody has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has had various parasite treatments. He is ready to find his new home.

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
