My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello!  My name is Violet and I just so happen to be the most adorable, loving, sweet and friendly pup! I have a beautiful and unique silvery gray coat and some pretty amazing blue/green eyes! What should I tell you about myself?  Hmmmm...I love to play... A LOT!  I love to chase balls, squeaker toys, and chews of any kind!  I am very playful with anyone who comes my way- including my foster family- (2 dogs and 2 kids!). I also am very good at playing by myself with toys for short periods. Going for walks is so much fun and I am doing great wearing a collar and leash.  Car rides are amazing and I love to run down the steps to my foster family’s backyard every chance I get! Eating is one of my favorite things to do and I eat in my crate so I know it is my safe place.  I also sleep in there all night and let my foster Mom know when I need to go potty!  Morning playtime is a blast and then I am happy to settle in my crate for a long nap- I am a great napper :) And my foster Mom said to tell you that I am a very brave and curious girl- I’ve been around a lot of round noises and nothing has scared me yet!  I love treats and am learning to sit if you give me one! My foster Mom says I am a pretty smart puppy!  I know that I will be a great addition to someone’s family when I find my forever home!  Like all puppies,  I want a home that will love me, have patience with me and have time to work on my home life skills. And I promise to greet you every day with a tail wag and a kiss! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as  they can!
Puppy kisses and snuggles-Violet
