For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Atlanta Humane Society with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Valentino, and my foster mom says I'm the face of resilience! Despite everything I've been through in my short life, I just want to play, explore, and be loved. I might just be one of the happiest puppies you'll ever meet. I was found abandoned in a parking lot, but thanks to the Atlanta Humane, I'm now doing fabulous!
I'm an outgoing, curious pup who isn't afraid of much; even loud sounds or storms don't really bother me. I'm a little tentative when I'm outside, but hey, who can blame me after being left outside alone for who knows how long? I'm comfortable around dogs and would probably do great in a home with or without a furry friend. Cats don't faze me either. Potty-training? Well, I'm working on it. I use pee pads, go outside, and have a few accidents-I'm a puppy after all and still learning!
I love to play with toys, roll upside down for belly rubs (they're becoming one of my favorite things), and wait till you see my zoomies! I'm definitely food-motivated and have already mastered "sit." I love showing it off! I usually like being close to my person, but I'm also okay alone in my crate or playpen, especially if I have my volcano toy. Let's just say I'm as smart as I am adorable. I mean, check out my green eyes and mismatched ears. Totally cutie alert!
I'm pretty chill for all I've been through. I'm going to be a fun one-maybe even an adventure dog or house hippo. Of course, I'll want those snuggles and snacks, and I can't wait to learn all the important dog things in my forever home. Come see me today! XO, Valentino
