Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Pending -
No Phone Calls. If you are interested in adopting this very cute Corgi boy, please fill out an application by going to charlottecockerrescue.org to download and save our application. Email your filled out application back to us to be approved. We will review it and return calls.
Meet Hobbs, a 6-year-old Welch Corgi. He was found by a Good Samaritan one day while out loose and playing in the middle of a road. They couldn't keep him and turned him into NC Animal Control. He was lucky and got claimed by his owners but shortly after, they surrendered him to the shelter because they just couldn't take care of him.
He is a healthy, friendly, very happy guy and heartworm negative. He is a nice dog but can be stubborn. This said, he needs discipline and structure as it seems he has not had much training. He has been neutered and has had a dental. A fenced yard is a must and he may need some house training in a new environment. He is doing great here at the rescue and gets along well with the other corgi's we have here. Overall, he is a very nice dog and will be a wonderful pal for another dog social corgi who would love a playful companion.
His adoption fee is $400

More about this rescue
My husband and I have been involved in rescue for many years. We started our own cocker rescue back in 2001. Our hope is to continue the work we love in helping as many homeless and shelter cockers find happy new forever homes.
