Neil has tested positive for Heartworm, this is why he is currently only available for foster. We have started him almost a month ago on his Heartworm protocol. He will need to stay calm before, during and for 4-6 weeks after his Heartworm treatment. We would love to see him in a foster home while he goes through his treatment. He is a very sweet and loving boy. His foster would need to live close enough to the shelter for him to be here for treatments and veterinary visits.
If you have any other dogs in the home, we would need to do a meet and greet with Neil before fostering.
