This is Emi and she is looking for her Forever Home! She is a 10-month-old chihuahua mix who is very sweet and loves to cuddle. She was brought to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region from Denver with her litter mates, where we found her recently. She is a lively spirit who wants more than anything to bond and trust others. She is still nervous about life but is overcoming her fears more and more every day. Over the last month, she has come out of her shell and will even go for walks, even though she still looks uncertain. She loves cats and is still learning to trust other dogs, but is open to them.
Emi loves to be with someone she loves, and is working on being crate-trained. She is also working on being potty-trained and does a great job as long as she is reminded! As with the chihuahua breed, she does bark, but seems easily redirected with reassuring words (she is a good human protector).
She is microchipped, spayed, and has been to the veterinary office for a check-up.
