Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Slewpy's DOB is around May 15, 2024.She is most likely a jack russell, bird dog mix. This is a guess as she was a Morgan County Shelter stray, but she is smart and athletic and loves to figure out new things. She can be a little bossy to other smaller dogs but is very submissive to larger dogs and plays great with pups her age and size. She loves kids and family. She will try to eat stuffed animals whole so NO small stuffed animals around her please. I recommend to stick with Kong toys and their rope animals. Having said that, she loves carrying her "babies with her everywhere. She is completely vetted with shots, spay and chip. She would do great with agility training and even competitions. Are you her family? Fill out the form at www.anewleash.org.

More about this rescue
A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
