Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Opal At 9 years young, has learned all her lessons and is the most polite. She is very charming, loyal, and always eager to make friends. Opal just wants to love and be loved, and take things in stride.
She walks well on leash, but she can only do short walks. She is good with other dogs, she is clean in her kennel and very easy-going. While she has never lived with cats, we feel that Opal shows little interest in cats and is much more focused on what you are doing. She is wonderful with absolutely every human, including children. Opal is more of the snuggle and cuddle kind of gal. She has such lovely manners and is easy to spend time with. Important Note: On intake, Opal was vetted and spayed. At that time it was the opinion of the Veterinarian that Opal needed a mammary chain removal and TPLO surgery. Since she has been in foster, Opal has had the opportunity to get stronger and be a healthier dog. When she went to her surgery appointment October 31st, the Specialist was amazed at the progress and healing that had occurred with the time between visits. It was his opinion that the surgery not take place given the extremely difficult recovery for her and that she would not benefit enough to put her through all that, making it is no longer a necessity.
We have added to Opal`s profile pictures which show the stunning improvements in her health overall! Even her eyes are brighter.
It is recommended Opal will need a home where she is the only dog or with a low energy, polite dog that would not accidently interfere with her recovery. Another chill senior dog would work too!
If you would like to meet Opal please email at info@uppercredit.com for a questionnaire, or call 519.833.2287 if you have questions, the staff would love to speak to you about them.
