Aldous is officially on the market! After being overlooked for far too long at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC), Aldous is now the shining star of his foster home.  He was found tied up out front of CACC, but you would never know it from happy-go-lucky personality.  Aldous is lighthearted and wiggles non-stop when he is excited. His passions include stuffed animal shredding, playing with his foster dog siblings, and retrieving balls that his human toddler foster brother throws in the backyard. If you are looking for a ‘Fun Guy’, Aldous is it! 

Aldous is crate trained but really doesn’t need it.  He is left alone behind baby gates in his own swanky basement suite during work days with no problems whatsoever. At night, he cuddles up in his crate with a stuffie and sleeps like a baby. No complaints from Aldous! He is also fully potty trained and knows that outside business only happens outside. 

Aldous would thrive in any type of home.  He would love a backyard to romp, but could easily live in a condo in the busy city.  The noises of garbage trucks, passing dogs, children playing are no problem for him!  On walks, his attention is peeked by all the critters we pass, but we are working on checking in with his handler and redirection. He is very trainable. 

No dog is perfect, but Aldous is certainly close to it! He loves every person he has met (children big and small included).  His smile and easy going spirit are contagious.  We can all use a little Aldous in our lives to remember to enjoy life's simple pleasures.
