My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Margarita, affectionately known as Margo, is a long-haired tabby kitty with a soft, luxurious coat that invites endless cuddles. Her gentle, sweet nature shines through in every interaction, especially when she gazes into your eyes with a deep, trusting connection that will warm your heart! Margo's purr is a soothing melody, resonating with a calming effect that can instantly ease your worries. This little kitty is looking for her forever home where she can provide endless comfort and joy!

Since Margo is still young, she will need to be adopted into a home that has another kitty friend to play with, or with another kitty from FFF. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings! Margo is a very friendly and easy-going kitty, and although she hasn’t met any other animals (besides her siblings) she would likely be able to adjust well to household pets, as long as she is given a slow and supervised introduction. Likewise, her gentle and calm nature makes her a good candidate for a household with children! As long as they have appropriate adult supervision (since she is still so small) or are older children who understand cat behavior and respect her boundaries. Margo would do well in a variety of different household environments but we think she would flourish in a calm and quiet household, especially with humans who are around a lot to give her all the love and attention she craves. Someone who works from home would be perfect!

Margo is an absolute joy to have in your home. Cuddling is her favorite activity! When she curls up beside you, her presence brings a sense of peace and relaxation. It's no surprise that she often drifts off to sleep quickly, as if she’s slipping into a serene, timeless slumber. One of her favorite spots to nap is right on your chest or in your lap. She loves to nestle up as close to her humans as possible. Watching Margo sleep, with her soft fur rising and falling in gentle breaths, is incredibly relaxing. You'd think she’s been dreaming for days! Margo has absolutely proven herself to be the perfect companion! Offering both comfort and tranquility in her own quiet, loving way.

Margo is not as playful as some other kitties her age, her focus seems to be more on cuddling, napping, and being pet by her humans. However, when the mood strikes, she does love to play with ribbon and laser toys! She also gets along very well with her siblings and she loves playing and wrestling with them.

If you’re looking for a gorgeous kitty who’s ready to spend the rest of her days making you feel loved and filling you with a sense of peace and comfort, then Margo is the kitty for you! Please contact us today if you are interested in meeting Margo or her siblings.

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
