Hi, I'm Nala! I'm a 2-year-old sweetheart who was found on the streets of Houston after I had my puppies. Sadly, when animal control found me, my little ones were nowhere to be found. It was tough, and I miss them dearly, but I've been healing with lots of love and care.

Despite everything, I’m a gentle and affectionate girl who loves being around people and other dogs. I warm up quickly to new friends, whether they’re human or furry. I’m great with dogs of all sizes—gentle with the little ones and ready to match the energy of bigger dogs. I love to play with toys, especially chew toys, and I’m quiet, happy, and always up for a walk (I’m great on a leash!). Plus, I’m potty trained and crate trained, so I’m all set to be the perfect companion in a loving home. I can’t wait to meet my forever family!

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our adoption fee is $400 plus transport (varies by location). A transport fee is not necessary if adopter is able to pick up Nala. This adoption fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), fecal analysis, spay/neuter, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

After an applicant has been screened, we conduct a home visit, vet reference check and personal reference checks. If the applicant is approved, we schedule a meet and greet.
