Sophia came to us as a stray, but now she is searching for her forever home! Sophia is one happy girl! She always greets staff with a big smile and some kisses! But there is something Sophia loves more than attention..... TREATS! She loves a good snack, and will do a cute happy dance upon getting some. Sophia enjoys the company of other dogs and cats. Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
