Ruff is available for adoption

He is 7 years old and weighs 10 pounds.

His adoption fee is $650.00.

Ruff was surrendered, along with Tumble, by their owner after his wife passed away. Ruff weighs 8.5 lbs and has a quiet and loving disposition.

Ruff walks well on a leash and stays calm around other dogs, bikes, and cars. He barks when people come into the house and again when they leave. He has excellent potty habits and doesn’t soil inside the house. He sleeps through the night in his bed or with his family. He loves his food and treats but also simply wants to be petted and loved.

Ruff is looking for a person to love and snuggle with. He shows his devotion with gentle licks and attention.

Ruff is staying with Sam in Pittsburgh, PA

1. Fill out an adoption application on our website.
2. We contact the adopter for an interview.
3. We REQUIRE a home visit.
4. Our adoption donation is usually $250 to $500 for a dog but may be more if the dog is very young.
5. There is a legal contract that must be signed. The Yorkie can never be sold, given away or dropped at a shelter. We ALWAYS want our Yorkie back.

We are Yorkshire Terrier rescue. We help people find the Yorkie they have been looking for and we help the people who have a Yorkie they cannot keep. We work in PA, NJ, WESTERN NY, DE, MD and sometimes other states as necessary. Yorkies are our passion - the big ones, the old ones, the sick ones. The Yorkies no one else will take. We vet them and find loving homes.
