My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wimbledon (28119) a domestic short hair who came to us in April 2024 from another rescue.

Wimbledon is a sweetheart who loves head scratches and chirps for attention! He is a silly boy still very in touch with his playful side and loves to follow you around to go on adventures. While he is still skittish about being picked up, Wimbledon is never one to turn away from cuddles and nose touches. You may notice his cool little scar in his eye. It does not cause him any discomfrot nor does it stop him from being the most loveable boy whatsoever! So far, we have yet to see him bond with any of his roomates, so we recommend a slow introduction to any residents pets at home.

If you are interested in meeting Wimbledon, please submit an application at www.valleyanimal.org

At Valley Animal Center our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people.

More about this shelter

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
