My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cozmo!

Sweet Cozmo sadly lost his owner and is hoping for a new forever family. He is a good boy and quite bonded to his friend Avalon. We are hoping to find them a home together but if this is not possible we will consider placing them individually.

Cozmo is an easy going guy who is pretty independent but also loving. He loves to sit/lie down where he can look out the window or outside in the sunshine. He enjoys going for long walks, playing with his toys, and playing fetch. He is a chill guy who gets along with everyone!
He loves food and his toys but is not possessive with them.

Cozmo is interested in chasing squirrels and rabbits in the yard. For this reason we do not recommend him for a home with cats.

Cozmo has a very loud bark that would possibly be a problem for someone living in an apartment (not a bad habit but a concern for future owner). He can pull quite forcefully on a leash when he sees a wild animal due to a strong prey drive, but he can also walk extremely slow when heading back home from a walk he wants to be longer.

Cozmo is a happy little guy who is friendly and adorable. He not only gets along with other dogs but will avoid situations where other dogs are becoming aggressive or grumpy. He loves going places with his people. When in the mood, he will play fetch. He loves going for long walks and spending time outside. He is friendly and affectionate but also independent.

Cozmo will be vaccinated and chipped prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $450. Please submit an application via savinggreatanimals.org. We review applications in the order they are received.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
