Because Daisy's owner lost her home, the owner took Daisy to a veterinary clinic to have Daisy euthanized. The veterinarian would not have it. A healthy, happy dog put to sleep? The veterinarian offered to keep Daisy at his clinic, and that's where Daisy stayed, night and day, for over 11 months. Night and day.
Because of this isolation, Daisy developed anxiety when left alone. With other dogs she is charming. Loves them. With cats she's respectful. With people, she adores all ages and sizes.
Daisy is perfect in so many ways. She's not destructive. She walks perfectly on a leash. She can be trusted with any dog, large or tiny. Daisy is a sweetheart! A sweetheart who has lost many months of her life. Now's her time to be a part of someone's family. Thank you for considering this gorgeous, gorgeous girl!

More about this rescue
New Horizon Dog Rescue pulls animals from high-kill shelters, those that are scheduled for euthanization, those that otherwise had no chance. The animals are immediately veterinarian examined. The animals are further tested for heartworm, administered the necessary vaccines and are spayed/neutered when applicable.
We are volunteers who devote to the ultimate goal: placing the animals in responsible, loving homes, where they have always been meant to be.
