My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If the oversized ears, tiny legs, and long body haven't already sold you on this girl, allow me to do it for you.

Flossie is a smarty pants with a calm, discerning temperament. She'll romp and play like any other puppy, but there's something more to her. You can see it when you look into her gorgeous hazel eyes - she is smart and wants to trust you before giving you her whole heart. Good thing earning her trust is easy; gentle love, moving at her pace, and TREATS will have her tail flying.

Flossie came to LOLAs from Houston at the beginning of September, and has spent a few nights in a foster home. At the foster home, she slept through the night in a kennel from 11pm to 7am with NO fuss and NO accidents. She is a puppy still - she's not 100% potty trained, but for a dog her size and age she is impressive. She loves puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and lick mats, and is really easily motivated by treats and play. She will be really fun to train.

Her first day in a foster home, she was nervous. She'd had a ton of change coming from Houston, then to a rescue center in Denver, then to a foster home with some BIG dogs. But she's so brave - after a day, she was playing with all the dogs, asking to go outside, asking for love, and daring to be mischievous. When a nervous dog feels safe enough to test the boundaries, you know you're winning big. Even better, she learns the rules quickly and only wants to please.
