My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jackson, a senior with a heart full of love and a spirit that radiates warmth. Her shyness may make her seem reserved at first, but once she warms up to you, she`ll be your cuddly companion. Jackson enjoys quiet moments, but don`t be fooled by her serene demeanor. She`s independent and enjoys exploring her surroundings, making every day an adventure. She`s the perfect balance of calm and curiosity, a companion who will respect your space but also appreciate your company. Jackson`s past may be a mystery, but her future is ready to be written with a loving family. Her age may hint at wisdom, but her spirit is timeless. Jackson is ready to add joy, love, and a touch of adventure to your life. Adopt Jackson and embark on a beautiful journey of companionship and unconditional love.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
