My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leroy
Hound mix
Approx. 9 years old
Male
24-D183

Leroy is the shelter’s oldest guy at 9 years young and would love to find his new home. 🏠 He would love to go on walks or maybe just be a couch potato to keep you company. Unlike youngsters, older pets tend to have better manners, won’t chew your shoes or furniture. 👟🪑 He is great at keeping his kennel clean and knows basic commands and does well on a leash. 🦮 Leroy would do best in a home with children in their teens and needs to be the star of the show. This means that he needs a home where he’s the only dog so your attention will solely be on him for your canine companionship. And just in case you’re wondering, you can definitely teach old dogs new tricks. 🐾💕

Leroy can’t wait to meet you! Shelter adoption hours are Monday-Friday, Noon-6:30pm and Saturday, Noon-3:30pm.
