My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This stunning pup is Nico. He’s a 10 week old pittie mix. He and his brother were left to fend for themselves in a very rural area of Alabama. When their foster found them they were so excited they hopped into her arms ms their second chance began. Nico is doing great in foster care. He loves attention and will roll to his back for extra belly rubs. He loves to run and play as long as his people are near. He is a very loving boy with a silly personality. Nico is sure to make everyday better with him in your life.

Nico is hw (heartworm) negative, fully vetted and microchipped. Adopters are responsible for setting up spay/ neuter procedure with their vet. There is an additional $100 deposit added to the adoption donation of unaltered puppies which will be refunded after proof of spay/neuter. All animals from our rescue are required to be spayed/neutered. Contact an adoption coordinator for more details.

More about this rescue

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
Our vision is to help our partners in Mississippi get their animals proper medical care and find them their forever home in the Northeast.
Why we do it... every animal deserves to be loved safe and cared for, we are their voice.
