Meet Magnolia, her foster family affectionately calls her “Nolie.” This is one beautiful and loving girl. The vet thinks she is young at just about a year old. She weighs about 33lbs they don’t think she will get much bigger. She is a wonderful mix of amazing breeds with a DNA test to prove it. It turns out this gal is about a third Border Collie, a third Pit Bull Terrier mix, 13% Labrador Retriever, and 7% Weimaraner. Her foster family believes she has the best qualities of each breed; incredibly smart, loving and eager to please. She knows sit, down, off and is treat- motivated to make you happy. She is incredibly responsive to praise and commands, she is ready to learn new tricks. She plays fetch and loves to go on walks so a family who has time to romp a little in the yard and walk her to get her sniffs in is ideal. She is great on the leash and does not pull when she sees a squirrel. She actually prefers to stop in her tracks and stare at the squirrels. Everyone one she meets on her walks is quite impressed with her beauty.
She is house trained and crate trained. Magnolia loves to sit outside and bask in the sun so a home with a fenced yard for her to play and explore is best. She is a top notch napper and snuggler and sliding up next to you on a sofa is her happy place. but also loves to nap quietly on her bed.
Sitting in a chair and want company? This gal literally slithers in your lap and wraps her neck around yours for a hug. She loves kisses on the head, neck scratches and belly rubs. There are no small children in her foster home, but she has been a polite and friendly girl with the neighbors‘ children. She loves to play with her canine foster siblings and learns quickly when they want a break. She is looking for a family that has some time to play, walk and snuggle. If you are looking for a special, smart, affectionate, people pleasing little beauty, Magnolia is your girl.
