My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taki is part of our T litter that survived parvo after being found dumped in a box. Taki is the smallest of the trio, but he definitely makes sure you know he's there. Taki is a little Velcro boy already. He wants to be wherever you are. Who wouldn't want such a loyal boy? He loves to run and appreciates squeaky toys, but his favorite is a good stick. He is extremely food motivated, which will come in very handy with training, and he sleeps well in his crate at night. He loves bath time and is such a good boy! His personality is really starting to show and he's so fun. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you.October 28, 2024, 12:16 pm

More about this rescue

Rosalie and Friends was created out of the President's dedication to help the under dogs and cats. She has taken in and rehabilitated the sick and injured for years. Late 2022 a well respected animal 501c3, Friends of the Escambia County Animal Shelter, dissolved and turned the organization over to Rosalie and Friends. We have assumed responsibility of several programs from them, to include sponsorship for heartworm treatment of animals adopted through the shelter. We also provide medical assistance for shelter animals and have a fospice program to get senior pets from the shelter and into loving homes through end of life. Our logo is "Fospice and fixer uppers" but that has not stopped us from helping others that cross our paths.
