My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Per foster: Scooter is ambulatory but has some periodic dragging of his hind area. He waits to potty outside and pooped on his potty mat. He is very vocal when left alone but extremely excited with a human present. He enjoys time on a lap and will sit still to be petted however, he is a bit neurotic like- bouncing back and forth like a child who is told they are getting ice cream. We are working on acclimating him to this new environment - currently barking throughout the night - do not believe in pain but for attention. Has been curious about the other dogs but does not show any signs of aggression. Gets along with them.

More about this rescue

We're a 501c3 organization that focuses on raising funds and awareness to save Arizona dogs in need - whether it be by supporting other local rescues or rescuing dogs ourselves. Our rescue is a New Hope Partner with Maricopa County, so we're able to pull at-risk dogs off county's euthanasia list ("e-list") and thus saving their lives by placing them in foster homes until we find their forever families / homes.

With that said, our mission is simple: find ways to unite the hearts of humans and dogs ... forever.
