My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What could be sweeter than a bowl full of Golden Graham? Meet our Golden Graham, a 7 pound chihuahua estimated to be around 2-3 years old.

Golden Graham is very affectionate, curious, and definitely a "play hard kind of guy, whether it's with toys or with his foster fur sibling. He's the perfect blend of chi sweetness and feistiness.

Found as a stray, Graham is ready to find his forever home. He'd like you to know he already has all the basics down - he's crate trained, house trained, and totally polite when it comes to meal times.

Although Graham can experience a bit of "stranger danger when meeting new people and animals, he ultimately loves everyone when given a proper introduction. It can be tough to be a little guy in such a big world, after all! Graham is also still learning how to be respectful of other dogs' boundaries (this guy just wants to PLAY). Luckily, Graham takes redirection like a champ and is eager to please.

Graham would do well as your one-and-only or as part of a pack. Although he hasn't met kids yet, Graham would likely do well with gentle children who understand his small size and need for a bit of extra care.

If you're ready for a pint-sized pocket full of goodness in your life, Golden Graham is your guy! Apply to meet him today.

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
