Ginger is a sweet lab mix with a sweet personality and a big heart full of energy! This playful pup loves nothing more than a good romp around the yard, a game of fetch, or some quality time wrestling with her furry friends. She’s always ready for fun and adventure, and her zest for life is truly infectious! Ginger had spent nearly a month at BARC in Houston, waiting for someone to notice her. She’s been cooped up in her kennel with no interest, but that hasn’t dulled her spirit or her love for playtime. She’s great with other dogs and would be a fantastic addition to a home that can keep up with her playful energy and provide her with the love and attention she deserves. If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky companion who will keep you smiling and bring endless joy to your life, Ginger is ready to be your new best friend!

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
